Log into your Xfinity account and find "My Device Info".

It will provide list of compatible devices. I cut the TV cable and went Xfinity internet only about six months ago. Bought an ARRIS Surfboard SBG 10, which was on the Xfinity list, from Amazon. Working great so far.
